Anyone else using Z3ta+ 2 getting really bad ASIO spikes as they move the cursor round the GUI?
I just bought Z3TA+ 2 and installed the 64bit version. It works fine until the cursor crosses the boundary into or out of the editable waveshape, envelope or lfo regions of the GUI. And it only does this if the arp is running. Hold a note without the arp and it is fine.
Just interested if this is a common bug that others have experienced.

These are also related to what you are seeing: http://www.steinberg.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=196&t=53066 and http://www.steinberg.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=196&t=54815
We later confirmed it occurs with slower / less optimised (from a DAW perspective, that is…) GPU driver revisions and less than optimal thread synchronisation (where applicable). It is very likely that this happens with a specific GUI framework, but I’ve never seen a specific confirmation.
Hope this helps
That’s great, thanks. Instead of rolling back my driver I updated to the latest version and the problem is solved, the spikes are gone.
