Zoom H6 as a microphone, Computer for audio out?

Hi All!

I am using a Zoom H6 Recorder as my audio interface/microphone. I find that I’m only able to listen to/monitor a track through the H6 headphone jack, which isn’t ideal (I want to use bluetooth headphones for my computer to give me more space between myself and the Zoom microphone).

What I want to do is to be able to use the H6 as the audio in, and use my computer for audio out.

I am using Cubase LE 9.5 on Windows 10.

Many thanks for any help and/or advice on how to go about setting this up.

Hi and welcome,

In Cubase, you cannot use multiple ASIO Drivers at once. The same device has been used for the input and output.

The only way would be to use ASIO4ALL (as you are on Windows) as a driver and “glue” your input & output devices in it.

I doubt, the latency introduced by bluetooth will give you a useful working experience.
For the rest try a seyrch for “ASIO4all” plenty of posts here and certainly also on Google.

Thanks, All! Will look into ASIO4all

Im using ASIO4ALL on cubase 5 but no audio output and l cant arm the recording button
