The interface, esp. mix console feels a good amount snappier, though or am i fooled by quickly testing it on a template without too much stuff going on?
Running beautifully here on a heavy project. That said, 8.5 was solid for my uses also.
More hovering business in the mixer… Over the bottom of the track suddenly a hand pops up. For copying track settings I Guess.
And they have changed how the name appear in the insert slot AGAIN (when they finally were on to something). WHY? WHY? WHY? All those annoying changes for NO REASON.
Now we have to have the tracks wider to see the same info on the track names

Getting sick of their installers now… Same as with C8.5 installer this isn’t working, just says there is nothing to install.
Then when trying the .msi file I’m getting an error about a missing file… 
Anyway from lookin at the history PDF it seems the mixer hiding the furthest left channel hasn’t been fixed?
updated ok on my surface pro 4, but looks as if VCA faders are broken
& it fails to install on my main daw

Steinberg do you even test this software?
maybe they don’t…if they did the first version would’ve opened it’s projects the way it’s supposed to…wouldn’t it
