Solution here: Midi remote mapping assistant - Cubase Function " Edit instrument" (Set on push big button) - mapping configuration - value mode set to “Toggle”.
Thanks a lot, it works !
I did it with mapping page on “device”. Do I have to do the assignation for “mixer” mode too ?
Good! Try it.
I have the Keylab Essential 49 Mk3, too. And I had the same problems with the missing encoder push mapping. That has been fixed by myself now.
But: I have another problem. As soon as I move a fader the complete script stops working. I can still play MIDI notes but all buttons on the Keylab and the MIDI remote mapping does not work anymore - except for the faders.
The only way to get out of this is to reconnect the Keylab as the controller seems to freeze internally. Even the Arturia MIDI Control Center does not get a connection to the controller anymore. Anyone else having this problem?
Regards,
Stephan
After some debugging I think I have found the problem: It’s the german word “Lautstärke” (“Volume”) that the remote script wants to display on the screen … especially the “ä”. Seems that the Keylab cannot handle this correctly and crashes.
Hi, you can check my answer/solution in your thread at Arturia’s forum. I could have posted it here, but there you have a dedicated thread and it will be easier for Arturia to find the bug and the solution.
Hi,
There are new script & firmware available for Keylab Essential MK3 series.
I don’t know exactly what changed but it’s worth a try !

Hi @Xion, thank you very much for the link. I don’t understand why Arturia left a link to a broken script here: https://support.arturia.com/hc/en-us/articles/8905862388508-KeyLab-Essential-mk3-DAW-Integration . I don’t own this device but I guess I will probably inform them on this.
