I noticed that when I have “Track Selection Follows Event Selection” checked in my Preferences, audio cut outs occur when I’m moving between different events/tracks. When this box is not checked, these cut outs do not happen.
Maybe it’s just me but I figured I would report it and see if anyone else has the same problem.

There are also cut outs when “Sync Selection in Project Window and Mix Console” is selected and I am selecting different tracks/events during playback.
Is this happening with instrument, audio or both tracks?
There is an issue with instruments tracks that Steinberg is already aware of.
Check it out to see if this is what you are experiencing.
