Automation over main track?

I wish we could have an option to have a single automation type over the main track waveform ? I get the lanes when your working with lots of different automation types, But if you’re just trying to trim volume, opening another track underneath it just takes up even more screen real estate

You can make the Volume curve on the Audio Event directly.

Do you mean the clip gain on the audio event, or do you mean the automation curve?

I absolutely love the clip game curve. I use it all the time, but I was talking about the actual automation data over the wave form.

, Yeah, that’s how I’m doing it both these ways, it’ll be really helpful to be able to have automation type over the actual waveform to save add into the massive track counts. We all use these days.

Is there a setting I’m missing? Other than the read button activated, I can’t see if a track has automation unless I open the automation lanes. Is there a way to see it in the audio track like other daws?
