Well in defense of SB. ChatGPT has taken the world by storm and is still a closed source API. I hope they first focus on fixing bugs and in the meantime determine a strategy with regards to AI/ML/ChatGPT. It has been out how long exactly? Half a year?
It’s interesting to hear that Adobe has embraced it, but they are mammoth sized compared to the SB team.
Also you can still use chatgpt to write code for you, but as long as you can’t/don’t use the current API Nuendo has you are limited. And the API will be developed for specific purposes that may not allow too mich (i’m not knowlegeable enough to go into depth on this)
Patience is a virtue even with double exponential development speeds of AI research
This has nothing to do with ChatGPT or AI. The thread is about a scripting API.

Yes, scripts and macros. Nuendo’s macros are more like combination shortcuts, while logical editors are more like the macros we need. As long as the logical editor can open script ports, Lua’s scripts and Python’s scripts can greatly alleviate the current workload

What would be useful for this novice would be a library of sessions (presets) e.g. Dolby Atmos Music mix to headphones. Do session templates like this already exist? If so where.
Once you have the basics it is easy to change thing like ‘brand of headphones,’ or how many tracks…
There could be 2-versions - using Nuendo plug ins or bridge to Dolby renderer…
