Bar number to center of score

I’m want to put the bar(measure) numbers in the middle of the score in-between the baritone sax and trumpet staffs. I’m sure that there is an easy way to do this in Dorico but, I don’t know how. Can someone help?

I posted this on the Dorico FB group and thought I’d share it here as well. I’m sure many other users are already doing this, but maybe some don’t know this method. If I used this bar number format often, I’d create or modify a custom instrument for this purpose, which saves a good bit of time on an already quick process. In Layout Options > Bar Numbers, look at the Placement section:

Great! the Layout option worked, thank you. The only thing is that I have rehearsal numbers at the top so it is leaving a blank space where the bar numbers are now which is at the top of the trumpet staff. Remedy?

Sorry, I’m not sure I understand… Could you explain a bit more or provide a screenshot?

Make sure you have Layout Options > Bar Numbers > Showing and Hiding > Show bar numbers at rehearsal marks ticked.
