I’m bouncing a track and reimporting it on the session, I’m doing that quite a lot to save resources when I have to; bat that’s not a fact of interest for you guys.
Anyway, let’s say I have a mono track with a lot plugins inserted, than I’m bouncing that whit a checkmark on “mono” and I reimport my bounce in the session. The new mono track has a “loss of gain” equal to the panning law setting.
My goal is export a track without having to compensate for those dB I lost in the process.
My temporary solution is Shift + S, putting the panning law to 0dB, temporary, and than putting -3dB (or whatever I set it that session) again after the bounce.
Is there another more permanent solution to this behavior? I would not like exporting in stereo when I’m dealing with mono tracks.
EDIT: Cubase 7.0.6 here.
