C7 Heavy on the CPU! Mac OSX 10.8.3

This isnt a bash C7 post at all as Im loving it so far, just wanted to see if this is normal to other peoples cubase usage on a mac. So I loaded up an empty project with no tracks and noticed my VST performance meter was really high. I also opened my other DAW’s and opened up my activity monitor and saw cubase was using tons of cpu compared to the others. What gives??? Aside from the massive CPU hit, C7 blows all the others out of the water. I keep trying them but keep coming back to cubase cause it just feels right to me. Ive attached some pics below and my system specs are in my signature. Not sure if it updated but Im running C7.03 on OSX 10.8.3 with 8gb ram on an 2011 imac i7 quad core

  1. Perf.Meter has NOTHING to do with CPU load.

  1. Just asking if it was normal to other peoples systems as I found it strange. (Not having performance issues btw)
