I have been experimenting with the new swing-feel playback. I run into problems trying to undo my experiments. There is no evident tempo marking to cancel. I have signposts visible, makes no difference. I am using galley view. How do I revert to straight tempo again? My solution has been writing “straight tempo” all over the score, I’d rather solve it without that ploy. Thanks!
Which rhythmic feel is selected under Playback-Options → Timing, in your case?

I changed it to (default) straight, no swing. Can I still mark 12 measures of swing feel?
You do it with Shift-T and then write swing or straight in the popover.
You get a bunch of alternatives to choose from.
Have signposts on to see them if you want to delete later.

I got the whole score back to straight no swing. The Shift-T “swing” isn’t affecting the playback.
You have to select from the list of suggestions you get when you start writing swing. Medium swing 8ths for instance.

Can you share the file (even with no notes in it)? It just makes no sense. Swing playback is certainly not a new feature (at least on Pro), there are signposts and it does work exactly as it has been described by @jesele … Maybe there’s something else here?

I selected both medium and light swing, no difference only straight eighths. Is this because I altered the default to straight time?

Also there are two options swing 8ths or 16ths, did you use the correct one?
Swing 16ths is only for very slow ballads I guess.

I did use the straight (no swing) setting to remove the swing sections I thought better of including. That worked, now nothing swings.
I meant the swing one. Did you use Swing 8ths?
