Can't remembe how to disable auto open file when rendering

Just reinstalled W7 on my Windows 7 Laptop.

When in Audio Montage, I render a clip or the whole montage, the resulting file is automatically opened in the audio edit section. I’m pretty sure it is possible to turn this “feature” off but I can’t find it in any dialogs or preferences.

Can you point me in the right direction?

Just noticed that it actually does it on my studio machine too. Maybe I haven’t used this feature in this version.

Is there a way to turn this off? I usually do not need to open the file I render after rendering. This “feature” slows down my work flow.

It seems the function does not exist, from this recent thread:
Maybe PG can reply to this “feature request”…

Luck, Arjan

Thanks, Arjan, for pointing me in the right direction.

Yeah, I find it rather annoying that no matter what I’m doing on my computer, whenever a new file is done rendering from the montage it has to show it to me in the editor. It defeats the purpose of it being a “background task”.
