Since Cubase 14 I can’t save an EQ preset, whether it’s a normal preset, or re-writing a default preset. Can’t do that neither from the edit window, inspector, mixing console or EQ overview on top of the mixing console. It does absolutely nothing.
If I try to load a preset, it opens the preset window, I can click it, select it, but it won’t load.
The workaround on MacOS is when Cubase says it can’t create the file (the preset you tried to save), go to that folder in Finder and create the folder where Cubase is trying to save the file.
A new version of Nuendo is out, but those who work with Nuendo 13 are basically stuck because Steinberg will never release updates for older versions. So, they pressure you to upgrade or stay with the bugs forever!
You can’t right-click and load the preset? Works as expected in C14.0.20, and in N13.0.51/14.0.20, and the same preset is shared between products/versions.
Haven’t tried that. I suspect that will work, but the issue is that that preset doesn’t show up in the preset UI of Frequency (and the search box comes up empty when I search for it by name - and yes, I’ve rescanned).
I’ll be in the studio later today and will post screenshots/more details!
