Can't save or load EQ presets

Since Cubase 14 I can’t save an EQ preset, whether it’s a normal preset, or re-writing a default preset. Can’t do that neither from the edit window, inspector, mixing console or EQ overview on top of the mixing console. It does absolutely nothing.
If I try to load a preset, it opens the preset window, I can click it, select it, but it won’t load.

Hi,

This is a known and already reported issue. Thank you.

Hello
Unfortunately I can only tell you it’s the same for me…
We’re waiting for an issue.

Hi and welcome to the forum,

It’s the same for all users.

Thanks

Same problem here dude for my UADx Plugins

“reported” means Steinberg is aware of and work on fix or they don’t care?

The workaround on MacOS is when Cubase says it can’t create the file (the preset you tried to save), go to that folder in Finder and create the folder where Cubase is trying to save the file.

Has this been fixed with 14.0.10?

Nope. Read my previous comment for a temporary solution.

Please Steinberg, fix this because its a pretty fundamental thing in everybody’s workflow. Please!

Hi,

This is going to be fixed in the next maintenance update.

Same with Nuendo 13!!! Nightmare!!!

A new version of Nuendo is out, but those who work with Nuendo 13 are basically stuck because Steinberg will never release updates for older versions. So, they pressure you to upgrade or stay with the bugs forever!

I can’t even “see” EQ presets that I’ve made in the Frequency UI (even though the preset file is still in the file system). This is on 14.0.20.

Is this bug fixed in that release? If so, then my bug is a different one and I’ll be happy to write up a bug report.

You can’t right-click and load the preset? Works as expected in C14.0.20, and in N13.0.51/14.0.20, and the same preset is shared between products/versions.

(Addendum: MacOS Seq 15.3.2 M3)

As I just posted, this works as expected in N13.0.51.

Haven’t tried that. I suspect that will work, but the issue is that that preset doesn’t show up in the preset UI of Frequency (and the search box comes up empty when I search for it by name - and yes, I’ve rescanned).

I’ll be in the studio later today and will post screenshots/more details!

Right on - I don’t know what “UI of Frequency” means, so I may be missing something :).
