I’m looking for a way to change the color of a track automation line, especially on a VCA. Steinberg’s automatic constrast often does a poor job. But I can’t find the solution.
An example here on Cubase. I don’t see anything similar for Nuendo. Does anyone have the trick?
I wrote “right click” in the original post when it should have been “left click”.

Here, it changes the track color, including automation, so according to the standard application of track colors. But what I want is the automation color only (because my track colors are codes and I’m going to keep them, but Steinberg does automatic contrasts of automation lines badly, so I want to adjust at this level).
You can change the color of just the automation track without changing the color of the main track. Is that what you’re trying to do?
Right, the automation track as such, not the line. But here it doesn “t work either, the line color doesn’t follow.
Update. Finally, as said on the other post (Cubase), the line changes color when it’s active. That’s ok. But for VCAs, it doesn’t work.
