Hi there , here’s another original from a while back ,I’ve been trying a couple of new concepts regarding mixing so it may sound a bit dark , one of my go to references what normally sounds well balanced sounds a bit brighter compared to my effort, hope it sounds ok ,thanks . Thanks Googly ,when I first wrote the song I played it to a couple of friends and one of them turned and looked at me as if to say ,“you likel ripp off” .I’ve always been aware of that bit and it and has become like a spot on my nose I don’t notice anymore ,but reminders keep popping up to sort it .:+1:

The mix doesn’t sound dark to me at all. It sounds great. Love this tune, and especially your guitar playing. You’re a little hard to follow, because you keep changing your name, but I know you’re one of the best guitarists to ever post on this forum.

Hi Leon thanks ,I’m still trying to get better mixes, I have 2 sets of different monitors and two amps and 3 types of headphones and if I can get it to sound ok on all that lot then it doesn’t come out that bad, if I could get it anywhere close to your mixes or Sherz and googly’s ,I’d be happy.

This SoundCloud I’ve been posting on is full up now so I’m starting to post in another SoundCloud I have under a different name lol .I’m not avoiding the web cops or anything lol .

Your mixes are fine! Thanks for explaining why your songs keep showing up on different SoundCloud accounts. So at least I know it’s you!

Mixing is overrated. For my own mixes, I’m fumbling like everyone else. I read two books about it, that’s the extent of my training.
