I am having quite a problem configuring CR. Every time I turn my DAW back on The control room output (UA Apollo) no longer plays, and control room configuration goes into mono. So far the only fix I can find is to turn off SoundID Reference, go back to the Audio connections output tab and restore the monitor output…Go back to “Audio Settings”, reselect “Universal Audio Thunderbolt”… go back to the audio connections output tab-reselect Not connected. Now I can go back to the CR tab and select my monitor output and it works. This routine is getting old, Lol. I should add that I am running Cubase 15 pro on an Intel I9 Mac. and the problem still exists after upgrading to Tahoe 26.5.1. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Do you turn on your interface before starting Cubase? Have you tried nuking your user settings?
Sure do, have my audio and MIDI interfaces on before starting Cubase. I have not tried Nuk’ing my settings though… I just found a thread detailing how. unfortunately the same… opened a new project and control room once again defaulted to a Mono configuration and no output… bummer.
I think the point is that you shouldn’t need to. My setup is dead simple so I don’t bother with presets in this context, but the connections I have are retained from boot to boot. (Win 10, C14, RME AIO (internal PCIe card).)

It changes so much points in the system, I never use it as system audio.
It messes everything up.
I use it as plugin only, that’s it.
