Countdown to Nuendo 14 - Save 30% on Nuendo 13 + free update + Grace Period

Dear forum members,

We’re getting closer! Nuendo 14 will be released in March, we’re currently determining the final date. More info will be available beginning of March.

In the meantime:
I’m happy to share the news that as of today, the Grace Period for Nuendo 14 has started. All Nuendo retail versions and updates activated after February 18, 2025 are eligible for a free update to Nuendo 14.

In addition, from today until the release of Nuendo 14, the Nuendo 13 retail version is reduced by -30% (will stop with the introduction of Nuendo 14), all updates to Nuendo 13 are reduced by -20%.
Get a full version of Nuendo 13 or an update from a previous version to Nuendo 13 now, and receive a free update to Nuendo 14 once available.

Timo I believe he meant current N13 owners being able to purchase the update in advance and getting a discount while doing so. Obviously the update per se can’t happen before N14 is available.

Hi Timo, I’m just wondering whether the price of the upgrade is set for those of us using Nuendo 13, or whether we’ll find out when it comes out?

Hi Ogeday,

rest assured that current Nuendo 13 users will definitely not be worse off than users who are now updating from previous versions. That would be unfair and we’re not going to do that.

So, does this mean that there will be yet another round of specials for N14, both before and after it arrives?

The Windows 10 lifecycle is about to end so a fully supported V14 will keep users going well into the future, in time for when new machines need to be purchased, that can support Windows 11, then bring on Generation 15!

Add to this, the choices now available for CPU’s, ARM, Intel and M4, looks like Steinberg have all the bases covered.

Wallet opened, can’t wait!

I just purchased Nuendo 13, coming from the trial version. I added the Download Access Code to the Steinberg Download Manager. My account still shows that my full version is not activated on any computers, and that the trial version is activated. Is there anything else I need to do?

There is another app called Steinberg Activation Manager

After going there, you activate the non trial version now if you want to use Nuendo 13 now.

Great! thanks for that. A followup question …
I have set a bunch of custom key commands up in the trial version. If I deactivate it and activate the paid version, I’m guessing it won’t affect me? (I know I can export the key commands but as I understand it, the software is the same, its just the licence that changes)

I acquired Nuendo 13 at the end of October 2024. I wonder if there will be any special discounts or facilities for those of us who are already users. to upgrade to Nuendo 14.
