Will there be a free N14 update to N13 crossgrade for Cubase13 Pro activated after February 18 as well?
I think Jean was asking about recent N13 purchases beyond the grace period, not all N13 users to whom Timo appears to be referring.
@JeanPlascet while it would be nice, I’m presuming “no.” If recent N13 purchases beyond the grace period were going to get a special “grace period extension” deal, then people close to that extension would would one too - this is why an explicit “GRACE PERIOD NOW ACTIVE” announcement was made. I’m in the same boat (Nov24 cross-grade purchase) and I’m expecting to pay $199 for the upgrade to N14 when it hits. Or whatever it is.

Yes, the Grace Period includes all “paths” to Nuendo.

This is odd, you don’t normally announce new versions before they’re out! Didn’t do that with Cubase!

Correct. We don’t have a grace period extension. We had a couple of Sales Actions last year including the Steinberg 40 years Mega Sale for Nuendo, giving 50% discount on Full and Updates for 3 weeks in Autumn.
The Grace Period cannot even by extended technically. Imagine it to be like a clock that you start and then it runs.

Timo, what you say makes sense. I took advantage of the fall deals, culminating my transition from other audio production companies to Steinberg.

In my case, I did my crossgrade on November 28th, although I admit that I took advantage of a good discount.
Of course I would like there to be a good offer for users who do not enter the grace period, although I suppose that will not be the case.
We will have to wait for news in March.
You know, I spent half my money on women and whisky, and the other half… well, I just wasted it really. I figure in the Grand Scheme it is what it is, you know?

Release at the same time is not possible for many reasons, so a Cubase special trial extension for Nuendo user is by now a great solution 
Well “by now” it is not, we need to look into this, if this is even possible. The earliest to do this would be generation 15. But I cannot promise this will be possible, as it would require an account-based trial provision process. We will dive into it when time comes.

Hello… I just activated my Nuendo 12 and haven’t received anything yet. How long will it take to take effect??
Cannot wait for this. One question that may/may not be able to be answered. One feature I am using currently for directing a musical is the import musicxml. I think Cubase 14 doesn’t allow this yet, and I’m assuming Nuendo 14 will also be following the new score editor?
What are you expecting to receive? Is this a “full” license purchase, or is it an update?
