Create Customised Audio Montage Duplicate

Would it be possible to automatically name the new generated file with an added suffix like “_01 / _02 / _xx …”, “_edit01 / _edit02 / …” or another string that makes an edit identification obvious, starting with the first edit?

Further explanation:
I was playing around a bit with external editing and the Customized Duplicate trying to reproduce the above stated problem (no real findings so far). I set up a small test montage with just a few files/clips named “01 - Track 01.wav” to “04 - Track 04.wav”, the files were copied to the default montage working folder “\TEST\audio”.
When I use the feature EditExternal Editor within the montage for a partial selection of a clip, the clip is split according to the selection and a new file for this edit is created under “\TEST\system.mon\edits”, but it has the same filename as the original unedited file (“01 - Track 01.wav” in this case). When I do an external edit of another selection of the same clip (either the unedited or the edited one), the file “01 - Track 01_2.wav” is created, and so on.
When I resample all files from both source folders with RX and collect all resampled files in a new folder “\TEST\audio\44k” to use for a Customized Duplicate, there will obviously be a filename collision with the original file and the first edit, if I don’t manually rename anything first.

Personally, I never use the external editor function from within the montage, so it is not a problem for me. If needed, I always edit the original file from within the audio editor and save it as a new file inside the same source folder. But as some users may work differently, I wanted to mention this.
