Same here S1 is without any doubt the most intuative DAW I have ever used. Sure it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of CB yet but what it does, it does superbly including HiDpi scaling. I keep poping back here in the hope that a decent upgrade could tempt me back, unfortunately this one is nothing short of underwhelming.
Looking at all the problems caused by this latest update (apparently even trying to update is a headache for some people )do steinberg recommend this update or not
well disappointing indeed !(on latest nuendo with this issue “fixed”) how does the undo-redo workaround works for you ? it doesn’t work in anyway here. have Auto tune pro 9.0.1.0 which is the last version i believe
I have confirmed with UVI that this relates to the ilok driver, and they asked me to try a beta which fixed the issue.
I suggest you reach out to UVI or wait for the updated version.
No problems here, running just the same as it was with 10.0.4. The fixes aren’t a big deal for me personally, but I’m sure there are some people that found them useful.
But on the heels of what Quietly said: for me 10.5 needs to be a significant game changer for Cubase both in terms of many longstanding fixes/refinements and certain non-flashy features like gapless audio, etc., in order to stay current and competitive. Here’s hoping for the best!
True. Latest versions of PSP Vintage Warmer and Softube Saturation Knob are also affected. In fact, I’ve contacted the developers and they were well aware of it. Fixes are in the works.
Installed the newest update and updated elicenser nuked my computer. I kept getting the message that Windows Services couldn’t connect. Four hours of trouble-shooting later, I did a complete wipe of 10.0.5 and went back to 10.0.4 and now all is fine. I am on Win 7, so I feel like that between this issue and the radical change to the UI, this is the end of the road for me when it comes to Cubase.
So there are no other small fixes? Just those 5 things?
Man, it’s getting scary around here. I really hope they are listening to the community for the 10.5 release cause if not…
This was to confirmed to be an ilok issue if you didn´t manage to get this solved. I was offered a beta version that fixed the issue and I no longer have an issue with black listed plugins (fingers crossed, at least to the next update)
I feel like I am seeing a pickup on social media activity by Steinberg on Cubase on twitter. More posts than usual. I have a feeling it might be an indicator we should be seeing a released of 10.5 in November.

Hi Maarten,
This issue requires a fix both on our part and on Steinberg’s. I’m happy to report that we expect it to be addressed by a combination of our next Auto-Tune Pro update and Cubase 10.5, both of which are currently in beta.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Thank you,

So it seems it also requires a new AT version as well.
The message talks about CB 10.5 but considering the release notes of CB 10.0.50, I guess Steinberg decided to merge their side of the fix to this 10.0 bugfix version as well (10.0.50).
SO I wonder if there will be more updates for 10.0.X? I think in previous times they released at least one more update backwards after a major release version? Will we get a 10.0.6 and maybe even a 10.0.7 as well?
