Cubase 10.5 quits after export. Help

Hello, from not too long ago, maybe a month, Cubase 11 quits after exporting a mixdown.

I’m not able to read the .dmp file, I post it here hoping someone can understand why.

Thanks a lot.

Cubase 10.5.0.68 64bit 2020.2.17 19.29.41.090.dmp (498.5 KB)

The crash is in Cubase 10.5, not much other human readable info in the log.

You can do this on your system btw

Thanks, but it happens with Cubase 11.

Anyway, the complete lack of support on Steinberg site for a Pro version sw. bought 5 years ago is not a great thing.

Then post the actual crash dump file and give correct details about the exact software versions.

The file you posted is from 2020. If you’re precise and complete in your report, you can get better support from the company or from other users. You give no details though.

What are you referring to exactly?

Sorry, I just picked up the wrong crash dump file, I had another crash today, I include the last one.

By the way I updated the steinberg download assistant and found the latest C.11 update and installed it. I will check it again.

But the strange thing is that after a lot of time of perfect workflows.the crash happened unexpectedly.

Cubase 11.0.20.371 64bit 2025.8.10 17.01.35.506.dmp (1.3 MB)

Regarding the support, C.11 pro cannot be selected to open a support ticket, at least to have St. read the dump file and detect the problem. I think it’s not fair.

Post back once you do, there’s no point in processing a log file from a previous version.

I would not agree. Steinberg is a group of human beings, same species as you (I presume) and me. They work for a living, and their pay and job stability depend on the company’s success. Since they do not force people into a subscription, they depend on users paying for updates and on people buying products for the first time.

This forum exists due to the company paying for it, (and there are even Steinberg people posting and solving stuff here on their own time) so in my view users should take that into consideration.
