I am back after a break of 3/4 years , so why cant i see all my purchased software cubase 10 etc on my steinberg ?? i cant even reinstall cubase 10 ?? where did it all go , i still have my blue usb dongle connected ?? any help / support appreciated thanks sam
the dongle should work, just install Cubase 10 and elicenser should work like before if you have compatible hardware. the dongle service is closed, but everything on the dongle is useable. Now it is on to a new licenser software and new versions. You should be able to use the dongle as before.
Hey thankx a lot mate , finally some how got to , if fact its installing cubase 10 , USB dongle connected , so will i also get back all my steinberg soft ware i had purchased ?? and why dont i see any of it on my steinberg ?? why is Steinberg making it so difficult for artists??
and is there any Utube that shows n simplifies the My steinberg thing and how to get back all my registered products
I am not 100% sure, but you probarbly will not be able to upgrade if your stuff isn’t registered on the mysteinberg page. You could always try to leave Steinberg a support ticket about the issue if you want to upgrade and ditch the dongle, but this has been communicated for years that the elicenser will close and if you do not register there is no upgrade path (most likely if I remember correctly). Anyways, all software on the dongle will work for you until the dongle dies, I had mine for 14 years and still going strong.
all My software was always registered on the My Steinberg page , that was before 2019 , i thing , it all showed on the mY steinberg , so if i didnt register it again later , will i lose it all? and if its all there , how do i get onto the new elicencer track ?? n thankx

no I update every version so the dongle was dumped years ago, but I know it still works 
these issues are so long ago, not exactly fresh information. I think Steinberg did a switch/upgrade of their system many moons ago where they had the elicenser system and steinberg licsenser running side by side. you had to do something I think to get it registered. so maybe you missed the chance. Anyways, just use your software and go on about your life. Since your version is pretty old I think to upgrade from 10 → 15 would be as expensive as buying v15 on sale. So wait for a sale a buy the new version, well worth it if you are getting back into production
It’s always a good idea to keep informed and stay subscribed to steinberg emails. They have been sending out information about this for at least two years. You can definitely use your version with the dongle. I have Cubase 11 running on my son’s computer with the dongle.
You can always open a support ticket and ask for help to get the licenses registered. Your USB dongle should be enough to prove the licenses.
There is no eLicenser anymore, that is now Steinberg Licensing. Cubase 10 will not get this new system, you need to update to the latest release.
This changed with Cubase 12, that was 2022 when they introduced the new licensing system. @glennloopez posted two links where you can read all about the new licensing system.

Install Cubase 10, connect the dongle and start.
Having checked the serial no of your elicenser, you could also attempt to register the elicenser in MySteinberg. If it tells you it is already registered to another user then you may be logged into the wrong account.
Tried installing from steinberg , it failed , usb dongle plug in from the begining , should i unplug and re plug ?? it says elicence is alreading running , but where is it running thanks a lot

Sorry but it is pretty hard to follow your shortcut text. You say you tried installing and then you ask where to install from.
If the eLicenser software is installed you should open the eLicenser Control Center and see if it has found your dongle. It should show the license for your Cubase 10.
There is nothing more to do here.
Now install Cubase 10 and if you don’t have the software anymore, you can download it here.
