Cubase 11.5 come out, come out, wherever you arešŸ˜‰

I think many people are mainly talking about workflow improvements and stability, however I agree Cubase Pro is a beast. It certainly is incredibly creative too - fantastic stock plugins, Groove agent which is immense, people keep sleeping on GA alone, retrologue, padshop- granular synthesis, a premium built in loop library that rivals Apple loops and Splice for all genres - I could go on and on.

But then again I havenā€™t tried Bitwig. I hear it has great intuitive usability. Thatā€™s the holy grail of any daw or user interface for any programme really.

You sure do like debating, for someone who is not going to debate  :slightly_smiling_face: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

To which of these misinformation does your reply relate?
But I agree, it is really not true that a next update will incorporate bug fixes LOL

Impossible to say wiith precision. But rest assured, I use only non-factual sources, which guaranties the integrity of my collective utterances: My cat, a neighbors goldfish and 'some guy. ā€™

I get what youā€™re saying, but does this make the idea of upgrading annually redundant?

Huh? You mean aliens havenā€™t landed in Hamburg? :flushed:

Perhaps they really wished Aliens had landed instead of having the Cubase 12 information peaking through

It is really an interesting year, I can say.

Thank you for your response, which is very realistic. But I did not say that cubase is weak and useless, and I did not say that cubase should be like others.
I am talking about competition and new innovation. Improving workflow, improving performance, fixing alot of problems, completing the many deficiencies and requests for users. supports re manage and organize old things .
I want Make menus and buttons coordinate

Even the Excel program is improving alot and developing dramatically.

to understand what I mean well, Iā€™m a fan of cubase and I donā€™t want it to look like any bitwig or others. I would like to see my favorite program in the best condition, always free from many problems and its performance is better and better.
I have a computer with very high specifications and every time I face Problems with cubase only, while Studio One is a program that I did not buy. I bought some devices and came with it gift and I did not have any problems with it, although I do not like it i still use cubase s. If I want cubase look like bitwig why am I sticking to it and write here now.?

If i like bitwig i will switch to bitwig
but that not my point.

your opinion is appreciatedā€¦

but you are saying " steinberg Developers should not evolve and improve "

and we are all impressed with all these problems. And we dont want extra features and stability.

-I changed my 4k screen because the developers did no support full hidpi the scale is very bad .

-There is no good compatibility between Dorico and Cubase.

-I record live and I can only control 4 CUES
Studio one = unlimited CUES

-The huge sessions in cubase Many crashes and high cpu usageā€¦
while Studio One does not face any problem.

Again your opinion I respect it, but please speak more realistically,

even hardware devices do not Compared to Presonus and Avid

look at protools carboon alot of dsp power inside this deviceā€¦

Thank u

Have you chosen to not read anything for the past week and then chime in here?

Steinberg is skipping 11.5 and going straight to 12. There was a leak, multiple posts, multiple threads about it.

If thatā€™s the case why would they not let users know now? Especially with a purported leak.

What about an official ā€œMisinformationā€ section in the forum under Announcements?

I feel something happeningā€¦.

Dongle being retired from 1st Jan /22 thereā€™ll be six months for other software developers that use the e licence system to go their own way of their software will just stop working. Refx/ Nexus wants Ā£220 to upgrade!

Friday guysā€¦
Matze will do his magic and unpack his Full House and a new era will be ushered in with Cubaseā€¦so get your hard drives ready itā€™s going to be BIG ā€¦And all the other migrated DAW users will then look up at us with envy and weā€™ll just shrug our shoulders and say youā€™d better not have switched na na naā€¦ā€¦
Boooom Cubaseā€¦.
Boooom Steinbergā€¦
Boooom communityā€¦.
Iā€™m out see you Fridayā€¦Boooom :muscle:

Unless thereā€™s a mass need for weekend work they would never release on Friday, its usually Tues/Wed. So if anything official is announced will be tomorrow or next week youā€™d imagine.

Youā€™re absolutely rightā€¦. The countdown runs in less than three hoursā€¦ā€¦
buckle up this is a wild ridešŸ’Ŗ

ok we know a new midi API probably gets in cubase 12, dongle free, probably Native silicon M1 for mac, some improvements, plugins and new features. but you describe it like its gonna be completely new cubase. which probably not be, so i keep my expectations ā€œnormalā€ and hope for good workflow improvements and features that helps speed and creativity, better computer power utilization and hopefully gapless audio too.

The feedback on here will be wild haha, gonna have some popcorn ready as peopleā€™s head explode lol.

We are talking about Steinberg inventor of the musical wheelā€¦
I donā€™t know why your expectations are so low but I expect nothing but a revolutionā€¦
Steinberg and the crew/developers/management behind it have certainly taken advantage of the time to lay out the plan for the future so that today Cubase will rise like the phoenix from the ashes and catapult us to the top in one fell swoopā€¦
Siiii :muscle:

well its not a normal/regular update as every year for sure. jumping straight from 11 to 12, update date delayed , the ditch of the dongle after decades etcā€¦
