Cubase 13.0.50 Maintenance Update Available

I think last one is new.

Nothing about changes in midi remote scripts, still they are dropped when open a project saved with 13.0.41. It is a idiotic design that they should be part of the project, since they are it supposed to work.

Hi seconded, i have big problem with Cubase 13.0.50 - it randomly won’t let me record enable the track, won’t switch on monitoring and won’t let the Record on Transport work. Also the Steinberg Download Assistant is not working, keeps crashing on startup, (Sequoia latest, M1 Max Mac, 64GB, 2TB)

Downloadassistant can’t install ASIO update and can’t download the updates for Cubase 13.0.50 and Nuendo 13.0.50 on Windows64.

Still have not fixed those blurry fader caps in the mixer

Thanks Matthias, buy i am having trouble when trying to type in a gain value, it won’t input correctly on any
value. I use a kensington wireless slimblade that works right otherwise. I haven’t checked for new Nvidia drivers.

Working great here, with M1 Max 32Gb, in Sonoma.

steinberg says window 11 on their sites?

Myself and other friends are having an issue with the MIDI remote. In this version, the controller needs to be added every time we open Cubase in the MIDI remote section. The MIDI remote script is present, but the controller and ports are missing and they need to be added every time we close and open Cubase.
We confirm the issue on the Mac and on Windows.
This does not occur with previous versions.

I know for sure it runs in Win10 as well.

Does not happen here on the Mac, MIDI remote is working as it always has.

In fact MIDI Remote finally removed my old Launchkey 25 once and for all so now only my 49 shows up!

It says Windows 10 and Windows 11

oki thanks

this may be the case with midi remote scripts that come with Cubase. If you add a midi remote script it is added in the MIDI Remote/Local folder. The ones that come with Cubase are in the MIDI Remote/Public.
I deleted the Cubase preferences under ~Library/Preferences and delete the Steinberg folder in Documents.
Opened Cubase 13.0.5 and the problem persists.
If I close and reopen the project all is well and the controller shows normally.
If I close Cubase and reopen it and then open the project, the controller is no longer in the project and I have to go through the process of adding it.
The MIDI remote script is there, but the controller is gone.
This is also reported to me by others running Windows and Mac.

Yes, I am confirming that i have the same problem.
I add the controller using MIDI REMOTE script the save the project and exit the entire cubase application and start up again and the controller is not showing up. Every time I have to go through the process of adding it manually.
I did not have that problem in 13.0.41

I think it’s a Sequoia issue

not all my plugins are compatible with Sequoia, in theory. and since I’m new to Mac, I’m not going to risk it. (in fact I don’t have an HD with me to do a BACKUp) I’m not in a hurry to update.
