Please do this, @Martin.Jirsak - Cubase is unusable on 13.0.50 on my system, i need to go back to 30.0.41, at the moment i’ve gone to 13.0.10 as there was a link in another post, but will ideally need a more stable version than that. It’s not my configuration as when I installed 13.0.10 the problem with the transport and record enable not working went away and all works as it should.

Anyone know what the the destination folder for update installer is? I downloaded 13.0.50 and every time it tries to install it tells me an “unknown error” occurred and it failed to install. It says I can manually install but can’t find it - not in the normal downloads folder and doesn’t seem to be in any Steinberg folder I can find.

Where is it possible to download Cubase 13.0.41 ? This is an existential question for hundreds of users who work with MIDI Remote and the FaderPort and urgently need to go back from Cubase 13.0.50 to Cubase 13.0.41. They can’t produce any more. There is not enough time to find the cause where Steinberg has broken its own code.

Hi @jackthepilot , please unplug all midi devices from the Mac, then open the Audio MIDI Studio App and remove all Devices that are listed there. Afterwards plug in the devices again. Sometimes that helps.

Myself and other friends are having an issue with the MIDI remote.

I’m getting this on my Windows 11 setup as well.

At first launch using a template that had your controller script, Cubase had actually tried to start TWO instances of the same script. I killed them both, redid starting the mkII script, saved a fresh template. Things seemed OK for the rest of that session. I was even able to close and start new projects from the same template and keep the remotes.

Today I started Cubase to check on this, and behold, there are no remote scripts unless I manually add them. This includes loading done projects that had the remote scripts loaded and working fine before.

Since updating Cubase shows a splash screen with eLicenser error occurred when I open Cubase AND the automation of tracks is very hit and miss. Sometimes it reads sometimes it doesn’t.

Finally, i have find the solution if you get the same problem, open a cmd with administrator rigth, run SFC /SCANNOW , restart and retry , problem solved for me : )

I can’t make Cubase work with this update, It does not load any interface so I can’t play or listen anything.
Mac Studio m1max Mac os sequoia 15.1. It was working ok before I updated it.
Maybe is a Mix of being in sequoia and the update.

My MP Midi Controller is not being remembered in Midi Remote in the latest update. . Each time i restart Cubase it is missing The controller. pfff.
I am on Mac m2 Ventura. Cubase Pro 13.050.

this graphical bug has not been fixed since my report (which ahs been confirmed) one year ago:

Show Next/Prev Tab Commands broken in Mixconsole Right Zone

First, I wanted to confirm as, after having activate the MixConsole right zone, indeed, the tabs content were swapped, but the tabs display wasn’t following. The two shortcuts defined being : Ctrl + Alt + ► (Show next tab) Ctrl + Alt + ◄ (Show previous tab) Then , for a reason, I activated the ‘center’ MixConsole area and went back to highlight the right zone again : the result is what we should expect, then : both tabs display and their content were synchronized. So, at the end…

hopefully it will be finally fixed… in cubase 14 ? or is there any fix update scheduled before c14 ?
