13.0.21 was just a hotfix with one specific fix.
Thank you for pointing this out. Still, what I am trying to convey here is that for some people Cubase 13 hasn’t been released yet. Somehow I payed for it but got absolutely nothing in return except a few wasted days trying to figure out what’s wrong.
And now there seems to be a weird silence about it with no end in sight as to when will this bug be fixed or what the hell is causing it to happen in the first place. 3 Months later, no real response or plan.

From what I can see, and if I’m not mistaken by all the other bugs reported here, the bug you reported is likely fixed in the upcoming release. ETA Q1 2024

are you on Windows or Mac, please? If you are on a Mac, do you use an Intel or M processor? If you are using an M processor, did was Cubase 12 running in the Rosetta mode by any chance?
Could you attach the crash dmp file, please?

I’m on Mac M1 and I’m running Cubase 12 in Rosetta. C13 was very stable when I had the trial for 60 days, the only difference between then and now is the new 13.0.30 as far as I can tell.

This crash is fro Cubase 12. Provide crash from Cubase 13.0.30, please.
Woops, my bad. I see no crash log of C13 though, despite multiple crashes. I’ll try and see if I can create one later today.
Edit. It doesn’t generate a log. It starts to load but crashes before opening the project.
It appears that Autotune Artist is crashing whenever I load it in 13.0.30. Maybe its the cause of my other projects crashing as well because I use it on basically every project.

This seems to be the fix. Thank you for finally fixing it. I’ll come back if anything else crashes but so far all my previous projects have opened correctly without crashing.
Hi all! I have an issue with a project created in Cubase 12 when I try to open in in Cubase 13. It starts loading, but at some point Cubase just closes without any notification.
I tried loading up the project without activating it and it worked, but no sound, etc.
Really unsure what’s happening and why. Version of Cubase 13 is 13.0.41.

It doesn’t seem like the console (I’m on Mac) or Diagnostic reports folder have info on the crash of cubase. Could it be that it simply closes. I believe I fixed the problem now - it always crashed on loading up the track with Antares Duo plugin. I tried removing it and it worked fine now. Thanks you for your reply nevertheless!
The problem now, is that cubase closes whenever I try to add the Duo plugin back in. Might need to investigate it with Antares. Or would that be a topic to investigate with you as well? Considering it only crashes Cubase 13
