I’m a daily user in a commercial studio. Tried to track on 13 when it came out. Random stop and freeze 7- 12 times on that day with minimal plugins - just band tracking. I have abandoned for now back to 12. No crash dumps were created for those crashes unfortunately. Windows 11, i9 10900k 64gB Ram. RME HDSPe latest driver
All plugins are up to date. These crashes occur as the plugin is opening. On all occasions I never got a chance to even use the plugins.
And can confirm all are up to date.
As mentioned before the majority of crashes were so severe Cubase didn’t even generate a report.
I know. tongue in cheek. We can’t have everything at once. Sometimes need to remember how lucky we are to have all of this at our fingertips in the first place. We’ve become spoiled.
Cubase/Nuendo is an extremely complex piece of software so can understand teething issues. I’m wondering Martin whether there is any indication of the wait before the first maintenance release so I can see if I can get to use it soon (which is of course a random hope that whatever is making it freeze on my system will be part of the update)
This is funny: I’m abroad and so using a poor Samsung 2011 laptop dual processor (4gb ram not recommended) Mobility Radeon HD 4500 serie! I’m using C13 since it came out and never had a crash which I had often with C12 on exit with the same machine. Of course I can’t do much with this now, but I could record audio tracks and mix projects with lot tracks and plugins. There’s some bug which will be fixed on the next maintenance update but for my personal experience and use C13 is more stable than C12.
I’m getting loads of 13 pro crashes, especially when opening projects created in 12 pro, have raised a support request, attached ips’s and, well nothing, I guess they are over stretched with similar problems
