"Cubase 13 Networking" process on MacOS?

I have purchased C13 recently. I’m using it on a macos Ventura 13.6.9.

Activity Monitor shows two running processes when C13 is running:

What is “Cubase 13 Networking” process for?

I can quit it once C13 is running and nothing seems to happen.

“Cubase 13 Networking” is always launched, it doesn’t matter if I am connected/disconnected to internet.

Hi,

Just guessing, isn’t it VST Connect component?

I don’t use VST Connect, so I guess it’s not that…

Windows allows the possibility of opening the file location - I assume MacOS has a similar function? It would give a clue.

This is the complete information from Activity Monitor (files and ports):

I would like to know what this process is.

Can anybody from Cubase team explain it?

Thanks!
