Cubase 13 Pro Quick Link Issue

Hi everyone!
I used to solo multiple audio tracks in the project window using the qlink shortcut ( Alt+Shift+Click on a Solo Button) till Cubase Pro 12 , but now I’m just getting the Solo Defeat Feature Enabled. It’s like Shift does not work in the shortcut combination. I get the same result in the mixer window unless I click the QLink button instead of using the shortcut. I’m on windows 10 64 bit.
Using Cubase Pro 13 Version 13.0.10
You can try to replicate this issue using the following steps:

    1. Create empty project
    1. Add a couple of audio tracks in the project window
    1. Select multiple tracks
    1. Alt+Shift+Click on a Track Solo Button
Result = Multiple Solo Defeat instead of Multiple Soloed tracks

Is anyone else having this issue ?

Thanks in advance!

yes it appears solo defeat.
but I never used that shortcut as I have 2 simple PLEs to mute or solo selected tracks, much simpler than combining keys and clicks.

Hi,

This is a known, already mentioned issue, which had been already reported to Steinberg. Thank you.

Can you share the topic’s link?

Hi,

This is the main one, if I’m not mistaken.

Thanks ! I suppose I was searching using wrong tags . I’m gonna follow that one!
Cheers!

Yeah, the same here Cubase 13 also
But it seems the shift doesn’t do anything. This function of this “Defeat” Solo I don’t know is activated by the Alt being held. I wanted a shortcut to solo / unsolo all tracks , or something like that in the project itself without going to the mixer. Maybe create a macro… In your case i believe you can edit the shortcut and not using the alt, and it’ll work in the mixer
