The maintenance update is available in the Steinberg Download Assistant.

They’ve been reporting errors for months and this is happening again?

No…And there won’t be any. With a little (just a little) luck, there will be some in C15, and it’s not free…

Is 14.0.40 compatible with MacOS26?

.40 fixed that nasty Midi Remote issue but Templates are bonked for me.

I saved one lousy template and all disappeared! WTF!

Still no fix for the Q-link not working when typing value on send. Was hoping for this to be fix.

Midi Remote Scripts behaviour its getting WORSE.
Now it remembers the scripts but its not working propertly until I disconnect it and re-cobnnect twice …
If I try to delete the script, C14 crashes…

I also tried deleting Prefences folder… Its really annoying, need to know how to revert to 14.0.32

It wouldn’t be the first time that there’s more under the hood than they listed in the history. Let’s see.

Did you read the release notes? They explain what has been changed in 14.0.40.

Update has ruined the performance and projects are peaking with multiple cutouts. I rolled back to 14.0.32 and issues are resolved.

Thanks for the update! My remote script files are still there, but all the function assignments are gone. I also tried importing the backup script from my external hard drive, but the functions remain unassigned. Anyone else seeing this?
