Cubase 14 available now

Yes. Cutoff was from the 9th October

Me too. Iā€™m also wondering if I can still upgrade my Cubase 13 Pro to the new 14 Pro for the upgrade price?

Hi new hereā€¦Iā€™m a long time pro tools user. Last month I decided to purchase Cubase. Now it upgraded and Iā€™m not eligible for Cubase 14 (activated on sept 23rd). Thing is I could have demoed Cubase longer but decided to activate the software right after purchase. If I knew Steinberg was going to release 14 I would have waited of course. Is there a way to submit a request or this is the only channel available?

This is already here: File > Export > Dorico Project.

I want to chime is as well. I upgraded to 13 Pro on Sept 9 and I certainly would have waited a little while longer if I had known 14 was imminent. I realize you have have to cut it off somewhere, but less than 30 days a bit harsh.

oct 9th - so you should be good. Me, who activated on Aug 29, not so much. :unamused:

Unable to test it out yet. Iā€™m hoping Macro Knobs are both ā€œglobalā€ and ā€œtrack specificā€.

Iā€™d like to control the filter of multiple instruments with 1 Macro Knob for example, allowing me to only create one automation lane for a layered synth.

I canā€™t see if this supports Mac OS12 Monterey ?

Hello
I have seen your answer about File<Export<Dorico project
Just update to C14 pro
Right is there but doing a project in midi file I tried to export the project in Dorico project
The function still not working
Could you please explain me a bit better how I can export my project as Dorico?

Thanks

Hello Matthias
I did update to C14 pro
I am very happy now, export midi file is working correctly

There maybe a 3rd party retailer still offering CB13 . If you hunt around you may get lucky.

Itā€™s a subset of Dorico

Sorry
watching the Dom video I did it and it works well
Thanks

Steinberg doesnā€™t use version dependent licenses. If you purchase a license for v14, youā€™ll automatically get access to all the version down to 12.

Thatā€™s not what @David_Boily was asking. They only want V13 and hoping to get it a little cheaper. I donā€™t know if itā€™s possible but itā€™s probs worth chekcing out a few retailers to see what they are selling.

I understand what they wrote. It is my understanding however that there are no such thing as a Cubase Pro 13 license. They are all Cubase Pro licenses and apply to the latest available version when activated.

Sure, I understood that too. But you never know what a 3rd party retailer might still have on offer. 13 is still on sale at some retailers today, not sure about upgrades though.

There is usually a free upgrade option for customers who purchase a version that is almost immediately replaced by a new one. If things are different with Cubase, I wonā€™t switch from the Artist to the Pro version as planned

I hope you guys understand that developing, maintaining and advancing complex software costs a LOT of money. Just look at what happened to the good people at Cakewalk/Sonar.
So, if you want that Steinberg Cubase not only lives on and strives, then there is no way around paying money to the people who are working on that software.

Very impressive update! I switched to Nuendo a couple years ago, will buy Nuendo update as soon as Nuendo 14 release happens!

The clip gain alone is worth the cost of the update for me.

I wish the team could add grouptrack-folders and sub-projects and it would be perfect =)

Thanks to the team! GOAT!
