I was about to make the decision to upgrade to 13 Pro from 12 Pro because some features of 13 were really interesting to me. Unfortunately I can no longer do this, my only option is now upgrading to 14 Pro from 12 Pro for twice the price and no new features that are useful for me. I wish I could still just upgrade to 13 Pro for the Price it was yesterday.
Hi! I’m currently a Cubase 13 user who is still in their rent to own plan via splice. Will there be an upgrade path made available via splice soon? I’d love to get my hands on Cubase 14!
Very impressed with the feature list. Features I’ve been wanting for years.
Also promising that the Demo is available off the bat this time around. What was the reasoning behind this change out of curiosity? Either way, I like it. Looking forward to getting stuck in.
Holy smokes, what a load of new features! This is substantial for those who wanted modulators and in-line pattern editors. I can’t wait to try it, and it really modernises Cubase while retaining all the previous creative elements that already exist.
I love that there’s so much in there for making the process of making music fun, paired with sensible improvements such as the mixer channels being moveable, and the new gain envelope controls.
Not sure it’s going to help with procrastination though, as i’m already thinking what effects I can modulate for my guitar, this isn’t just applicable for EDM’ers!
All those plugins to revisit hey? …The songs can wait for a bit longer, right…?
So … installed demo of C14 Pro (MacOS Sequoia 15.1, M3 MB Air) and I’m stuck at the “Projects” dialog box. No hub on the left. Clicking any of the buttons like Create/Cancel/Open other does nothing . Double-clicking on the project type does nothing.
Known bug? Not a particularly good start to trying out the demo!!!
Closed Cubase, restarted and this time I get the usual dialog box with the hub on the left and at least now I can get to doing some testing
