Hello. Old bug but here is the video in Cubase 14 with the same mute bug
When you mute instrument in the group and then disable track, Then you again enable it it’s not sounding (also check the meter on the video)… When you click on M and then again to M it’s sounds…

I can replicate this bug on Cubase 14.0.32 exactly like you described.
EDIT: This bug is related to Instrument tracks and Sampler tracks, Audio tracks are not affected.

this bug has most probably been reported to Steinberg because it has been around for a while now. Since it is a non- destructive bug and there are also workarounds I have no idea how high this one is on Steinberg’s to do list. We can only hope that they’ll fix it any time soon - noone knows for sure until the next release, I’m afraid.
With regard to your other bug - I am on Windows and of little help in the Mac department, sorry…
