Hi, I’ve updated to Cubase 14 and the templates that came with recording are no longer there. Does anyone know why they were removed or why they weren’t installed for me?
Welcome, @Jorge_Oswaldo_Chuqui
I don’t know exactly why several factory templates have been removed, actually. But if you still have a Cubase 13 or older version installed, you can retrieve them here (Windows based system - can’t state in a reliable way where they could be on a MacOS based one) :
C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 13\Project Templates
You can then copy the ones Missing in C14 from the previous path to the \Cubase 14 equivalent, in your relevent version subfolder. I guess that there is a kind of tag that allows them to appear in the relevent category when using the hub projects list.
The problem is that I formatted the machine before updating to 14 and I no longer have anything from 13.
Seems like solutions have been found, according to this thread :
I haven’t looked at it further, as I don’t use them, but worth a check, I guess. Cannot help more, sadly… ![]()
