Please allow us to insert a line break in channel names in order to more efficiently utilize both text rows in the Mix Consoles.

Cubase 13 is full of options to show or hide things everywhere in the softwareâŚ
Especially the mix console is extremely customizable. You can show or hide nearly everything there as you like (the little button in the upper right corner, âsetup window layoutâ, to the right of the button for âright zone show/hideâ). Furthermore then there are options how to display certain things (like the channel meters as PPM or waves, etc, etc.), also you can split the console in different independent zones and hide channels if you wantâŚ

With the increasing number of time-dependent project requests from clients (I want a 15 second, a 23 second and a 12 second version) the most common thing is to copy versions further in the same timeline and edit them - it would be very useful to have a second time display that DOESNT start at the begining but at a point given by the user, so I can see quickly how long exactly is my version 3 that starts at bar 54.

Yes, thatâs the feature called âchunkâ in Digital Performer that I wrote about before. If this were implemented in Cubase, it could also become what everyone desires in Ableton.

VU METERS on every channel on MIX CONSOLE.

+1 on the named files. Itâs insane that it doesnât. How many âguitar-1â files do we have on our HDs?
For those of us with physical analog synths, some CV/Gate love like Expert Sleepers vstiâs and Ableton/Bitwig built in cv gate control would be a great addition.

My understanding is that CV is something physical, not logical. It is Control Voltage, isnât it? If so, it would be up to a hardware interface to convert any signal from the computer into CV.
Are they sending such signals as audio output?
