the download assistant has just been a nightmare since 13.0.50 update. update looks great, wonder how many hours of frustration this will be 
I don’t think there ever has been a release with so many feature requests fulfilled.
Looking forward to trying this version out.

I downloaded it manually from the Steinberg site no problems. This SDA is fucked up, nothing is possible to download
I downloaded it just fine via the SDA.
I downloaded and installed it via the SDA perfectly fine.
It also updated the Activation Manager, so make sure you do that as well.
I only registered Cubase 13 on 30 Oct does this mean I will get a free upgrade to version 14?
yeah, seems the SDA is broken for a couple of users including myself. We have to install software updates manually including an Asio driver. Then when the updates get installed manually SDA gets confused and reports back error after error. So my guess is that I won’t be able to use SDA anymore until somebody fixes something

I bought C13 Pro but never activated it.
What process should I follow to get c14 for as little as possible (free)?
If you haven’t already redeemed the Download Access Code (DAC), then you can simply redeem it now and it will provide a license for Cubase 14.
If you redeemed the DAC, then it will depend on when you redeemed it. If it was after 8 October 2024 then you’ll be entitled to a grace period update.

SDA handled the download perfectly for me. To be fair, it always has done for me.

Could it be a problem to have both versions 12 and 13 on the same PC? Or is it enough to just download the new version without downloading Halion and other sounds again?

I do even have C11-13 on one PC. No problems at all besides I have to use my USB dongle (eLicenser) for C11.
