No need to download HALion and other components again. The SDA shows them all as already downloaded in the Cubase 14 section, all I had to install is Cubase 14 itself and the new Drum Machine Content.

The audio connections changes, iā€™m hoping will improve the workflow for multi-timbral workstations that only use a single output. Fingers crossed as I canā€™t try it out until later.

Anyone tried modulators with external gear? I donā€™t know if you can modulate CCā€™s? Iā€™m sure there must be a way even if it involves using a third party plugin. Could be fun! :slight_smile:

The gain function looks awesome, and the Range tool is simply invaluable!!!

Less than two minutes from the time I saw it was available until it was installed on the studio computer. Flawless process here with zero glitches.

Agreed, the release notes have me reeling rn. Never seen an update with so many of my most important feature requests implemented at once. I canā€™t wait to try these out in practice. The team has clearly been working really hard and paying attention to users.

Okay, only the first couple of hours of playing but C14 is a dream. Snappy, loads C13 projects without a glitch, and an enormous number of improved and new features. Superb.

How do I get free upgrade. I purchased cubase 13 literally a few days before the grace period. There has to be someway to still be eligible.

I go the same error messages from SDA when trying to download Cubase 14. But I managed to get the download working by clicking the ā€œretryā€ buttons that appear to the right of the items that failed to download. Hopefully this might work for others who are getting the same error messages.

Can I safely remove cubase 13 now that 14 is downloaded or will this cause problems? All of my projects from 13 showed up so Iā€™m thinking possibly?

Dear Ben,

I own Cubase Pro 13 and have an unused Download Access Code ā€œCubase Pro 13 update from Cubase Pro 12ā€, Iā€™m trying to use it now, but I receive the following error message:

ā€œYou entered a Download Access Code for a product upgrade but you do not own a license to which this upgrade can be applied. Please contact your local support team.ā€
