Hey guys… a bit frustrated. Love Cubase 7, but ever since this update i’ve lost all my meter readings for the channels when veiwing session outside of edit channel. So… i have to open the channel every time i want to see the meter? Or have my mixer open all the time? That’s really not cool…
Plus i’ve lost my blue color on my sends. And my green color on my lp filters and so on. I’ve tried reseting them in pref. No go. Please help. I want to roll back to 7.01 if these things aren’t changeable.

7.0.2 is working very well overall here. HUGE improvement over 7.0.1, which was unusable for me. Once they sort out the mixer level recall issue with .vmx, I think I will be happy with 7 overall.

I’ve back to 6.5.3 to work on my macpro, C7 is still in the box… but…
I cannot continue to work on 6.5.3 because not load the C7 songs… thanks Steinberg… thanks again

I upgraded to 7.02 and still the same problem with the compressors tube compressor / vintage compressor. (tested on Windows 8/7 and Vista & Apple)

Since instaling the update i have a serious issue .:
the mixer will no longer show knobs on the eq ,pre and chan strip ??? what the hell is this can anyone help ???
also the whole gui looks a bit pale …

I had a similar set of symptoms after running the 7.0.2 update.
I downloaded and installed the most recent version of Elicensor and the full 7.0.2 package and have had smooth sailing ever since. The full version is > 5GB so it is quite large but I found the effort worthwhile.

did you do a clean install of the full installer or use the reinstall option over your install , im just wondering if it’s worth ago here

Hi filterfreak,

I used the reinstall option for all objects with the exception of Halion SE (I was concerned that the Symphonic set might have been compromised so I decided to bypass it). Overall improvement is noticeable – screen objects appear as expected and projects no longer crash on open/close.

Im not happy what so ever with CB7 Yes i know it works perfect without any 3rd party plugs on windows 8.
But are we suppose to just use the lame plugs that comes with?

Then if so, why dont you give us the full versions of the plugs and stop being so greedy?

I know there’s tons of problem with 3rd parties memory leaks and all, But come on man…
everything worked fine on 6.5. Are your telling me you cant make it work on 7?
You know very well that this update was not ready to be release.
OR WAS IT THAT YOU GUYS DID THIS SO WE CAN GO AHEAD AND BUY YOUR PLUGS. SMH!!!..SHAME ON YOU!!!

This is the reason why i can’t get behind a DAW all the way.

I don’t know what you’re on about. I use many third party plugins from just about all the major manufacturers and don’t have any showstopping issues.
I am aware of some bugs in the mixer but I expect Steiny is working hard to fix them. And why would’nt they?

Can’t see any possible way to interpret what he actually wrote into that.

I use both 64-bit and 32-bit third party plugins with C7 and it’s working fine.
