[Cubase 8.5.3] Magic Mouse not double-clicking properly

Hello, Steinberg.

I’d like to report the following bug:
I’m running a Cubase 8.5.3 on a mid 2012 Macbook Pro, on macOS Sierra (10.12.6). I regularly use Magic Mouse 2 and have done so since I’ve owned Cubase 8.5. Yesterday, I noticed a weird behaviour when double-clicking on the midi editor: it works only sometimes, but not always, as it should. I’ve found one report of this issue on this forum (it hasn’t received a reply).

The thing is, it only started happening yesterday, for no apparent reason. Double-clicking on everything else outside Cubase works just fine, so it’s not a specific Magic Mouse 2 issue. It only happens when using Cubase. I’ve read that this happens to people using the combination Sierra+Cubase+Magic Mouse. Using “double-click” on the trackpad still works as usual. This is really destroying my workflow, could you please help me with this issue?

Thanks, in advance, for reading this.

I found the bug here, as well. It hasn’t been solved yet, apparently.
