You know what’s wrong with it.
What planet are you from? You can’t be serious. Just … NO!
Yes i know but there are good things with it also .
Nobody forces you to use it just don’t.
No but people who will use it will force me out of work.
No there aren’t, writing music with AI prompts, which is where this is going, offers nothing but for those without knowing what they do to claim that they are musicians. As much as I am a graphic designer and going to Midjourney and creating “art” with prompts.
I agree with you but I’m not talking about these bad side effects but on the creative aspect ,
and I’m sure there will be many things that can take advantage of this technology and I’m always talking on regards to music technology only .
and it is still not sure if you will get out of work you can use AI to your own advantage.
Out of interest, and in the interest of not going around in circles, what AI functions do you hope to see from Cubase?
All those AI created music I’ve heard is terrible nonsense until now that is.
yeah, it’s pretty terrible output, but again, what do you hope to see from Cubase, in connection to future AI implementations?
Intelligent tools and assistants,
lets say i have a question regarding audio latency and asio guard or how to sent the same midi message in a group of 10 midi devices arranged in layers with separate attributes and midi processors to each device or question in regards to windows OS (I’m on PC) in a dialog with it .,
i just can think of a few things right now ., but as music creation is a dynamic process I’m sure there will be other uses ., Not needing a technology like this is like saying that i can do everything by myself
then what about all those people that are in a groups and have assistants …
Nothing wrong with an automated assistant.
Not sure this falls into AI, but I am sure this could be hugely helpful for people who are either starting out, or advanced users who would like to progress further in knowing Cubase.
You must really like going in circles don’t you?? Didn’t we cover this back in June when you first opened this thread?
Well you did but i have a different opinion.
Yes, I agree with this paradox. Life is paradox.
In all fairness, he did say that his interest in AI is to do with assistance in terms of an automated help-bot to assist with tasks, should a user gets stuck with production issues, not creating music from thin air.
Do people think that sort of thing is going to happen with Al?
No. Many people who do paper work, or managers who make decisions based on data, will lose their jobs and there will be nothing that replaces these jobs.
In today’s news:
“AI-Created Art Isn’t Copyrightable, Judge Says in Ruling That Could Give Hollywood Studios Pause
The judge stressed that copyright law was only designed to protect works of human creation.

Yeah, that’s it really.
No production company will be able to use ANYTHING AI as it will not be able to protect its work,
Game over for AI in the arts, really…
In all honesty as a composer, I am not allowed to use anything prerecorded and preproduced as such a move can have copyright ramifications…
Why can’t people understand such simple concepts it’s beyond me…
In all honesty as a composer, I am not allowed to use anything prerecorded and preproduced as such a move can have copyright ramifications…
Besides that, do you feel OK with such an act ? the same goes with AI
