Cubase Fader rounded edges

Cubase 13 seems to render rounded corners on the mixer fader differently.
Not sure if this is a resolution issue.

  1. MacOS (Taken from Youtube)

Is there a reason why the radius of the rounded corners seem more in the first picture?
Is there a way to tweak that?

Hi,

I would guess, the reason is the width of the channels.

No, there is not.

I did increase the width of the channel. The radius still seems to be bigger.

Ähm… just as a serious matter of curiosity: Does this matter to you at all or is it just some observation you want or need to share?

I’m not a fan of rounded edges on the mixer window. So I wanted to know if it was possible to the change the radius of the corners.

Thank you, Izak, for answering my question! I had a feeling that asking it might be misunderstood as a rant against the question and so I am happy that you took my question seriously.
I am surprised what triggers requirements and what subjective needs people utter - I try to respect that, and it for sure triggers my “psychological” curiosity in how people’s brains work differently.
I mean: I personally would not even have noticed the detail - and at the same time it is important to someone, which is you in this case.
So that is what I try to learn!

There was a huge discussion on here about the look of the GUI when 13 was launched, the fader caps seemed to be an issue that irritated a LOT of folks:

Are you sure you are using the exact same version number of Cubase on both systems?

There was an update after the first version of Cubase 13 was released that changed visuals.

No, it’s not.
As far as I can see there is also no difference between Mac and PC. Looking at a recent Greg Ondo stream, who uses a Mac, the corners are rounded the same way as ony oyur PC screenshot.

I’m using v13.0.41. Not sure what the other image was running. It was taken from YouTube.

I’ve only seen that on Greg’s machine as well.

Chris Selim and Dom Sigalas and a few other YouTubers seem to have less rounded corners.

For example, take a look at this video at 3:43. You should be able to see less rounded corners. They could be running an older version.

Not sure if it has anything to do with screen size and resolution.
