ASIO Auslastung ist bei 1/4
keinerlei Fremdplugins/ -Instrumente

Cubase stürzt beim Speichern (inzwischen) mehrerer Projekte wortlos ab.
Automatisches Speichern bringt nichts.
Dieselben Projekte auf PC haben keinerlei Probleme.
Wo hakt’s denn bloß auf dem Notebook?

Hast du mal versucht, auf einem anderen Laufwerk zu speichern ?

Ist auf deinen Laufwerken noch Platz ? Sonst ggf. etwas aufräumen (Papierkorb leeren, Download Ordner leeren, …)

Da ist Platz ohne Ende (C:\ 130GB/ D:\ 700 GB).
Der Crash passiert ja auch nicht regelmäßig bei allen Projekten.
Die betroffenen cpr waren vorher mit Fremdplugins bestückt, die dann komplett durch Steinberg Plugins ersetzt wurden.

Die Cubase15.exe.3052.dmp hat 542 MB, WinDbg streikt.

”Cubase 15.0.10 64bit2026.2.18 21.01.12.086.dmp”

und befinden sich im Ordner
C:\…\Dokumente\Steinberg\CrashDumps

Der Crash ist in der Windows Komponente “ucrtbase.dll”. Dein Rechner hat offensichtlich Windows 11 24H2 und die Patches vom Januar 2026 installiert (Ver. 26100.7623).

Hat er das Problem vor dem Update auch schon gemacht?

Du könntest als Versuch diese Datei zu reparieren die aktuellste VCRuntime runterladen und installieren. Die findest du bei Microsoft auf der Website hier.

Da drin enthalten ist auch die ucrtbase.dll und das wäre ein Weg sie neu zu installieren. Achte drauf das du das richtige Package runterlädst, das für “X64”.

Ich habe außer den regulären Windows-Updates nichts geändert.
Ob der Fehler schon länger auftritt, kann ich nicht sagen, da ich das Notebook erst einen Monat für Cubase benutze. Ich werde trotzdem mal versuchen, die VC_redist x64 zu ersetzen.

Ich hatte heute Nachmittag nicht einen einzigen Absturz.

Trotzdem würde mich interessieren, wie ich mir die ucrtbase.dll zerschossen haben könnte.
Ich würde das für die Zukunft gerne vermeiden.

Wie @JuergenP schon schrieb, hängt das wahrscheinlich mit einem Windows-Update zusammen.

Wenn Du hier im Forum oder auch allgemein bei Google & Co. nach dem Begriff ucrtbase.dll suchst, bekommst Du jede Menge Fundstellen. Scheint wohl eher ein Kompatibilitäts-Problem zu sein, die dll an sich wird wahrscheinlich gar nicht zerschossen.
