Cubase update 13.0.20 Bug {ARA}

As there is no longer an allow list in Cubase 13, the loading procedure has changed in order to be safer, and Autotune couldn’t cope with it.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. : ) I guess it’s a case of waiting for Antares to sort it out then. 3+ months is obviously not long enough…

Such a shame it still hasn’t been fixed but at least we know Antares are the ones to badger in this case

In all fairness, the situation is actually unfortunate for Antares. We did a change, and that change affected their plugin due to the framework version they use…hard to see that coming.

Is there not a grace period generally before release where plugin teams have a chance to test on the new framework before it’s released. Could avoid this whole process. Similar to how Playstation have worked with game devs for years

They had a working plugin built on an older framework version that stopped working, the new framework version works. And yes, there is a testing period, I’d guess that’s the reason why a new version is not yet released.

Thanks @Fabio_B , very helpful to know

I am having issues with ARA on 13.0.30. It blanks the audio out sometimes and other times doubles it. I am reinstalling the update now.

Hi,

Did you find out, when does ARA blank the video and when does it double it, please?

Found a workaround, that makes Autotune Pro X 10 ARA working again in Cubase13 or Cubase14 .

Not the best solution but it works,
See here: AutoTune Pro 10 not available as an ARA 2 extension in Cubase 14 Pro
