Do you mean the channel strips in the mixer?
If so, simply tap the XL button at the top right of the mixer to make them appear.

Hi Lars,

No, @dsun0066 referring to the CHANNEL STRIP in Internal Effects, see screenshot

My bluetooth mouse no longer works in mixer window, and the pen with my S9tablet is working sporadically.

Unfortunately, Apple does not offer upgrade options.

Below are a few links that outline the differences between Cubasis 2 and Cubasis 3, which I hope will help you decide whether upgrading to Cubasis 3 is worthwhile. Additionally, Cubasis 3 is currently on sale for a limited time.

Lars

Hi all,

Thank you for your feedback so far.

If you encounter general issues with Cubasis, please try the following steps:

  • Close all apps (including Cubasis).
  • Fully shut down your device (turn it off).
  • Restart the device and launch Cubasis with an empty project.

If you experience the Bluetooth headphones issue, please try this workaround to see if it helps for the time being:

  1. Go to Setup > Audio.
  2. Tap Input in the Input & Output section.
  3. Select iPhone or iPad microphone (depending on your device).

Best regards,
Lars

Hi @fixitmania53

The upload icon at top of the message box does not function.

What do you mean by this?

Thanks
Lars

Hi Lars,

Yesterday I tried to upload a screenshot of Cubasis in Portrait mode but tapping the icon circled in red would not work, it just goes grey.

I managed in the end by dragging the picture onto this forum.

Hi @fixitmania53

OK, so it’s a forum issue…

Best,
Lars

Issues:

help not working in the new android release it gives a web page error,

sessions keep defaulting to lowest latency( correct action is to keep the session settings)

Mouse and pen limited functionality; no fader movement, no knob or butons movment within pplugins.

Love the new update. Having fun exploring the new amp rack. The issue I’m having is with a Bluetooth device. When connected to it, Cubasis converts the sample rate to 8. So I hear nothing when I hit play. If I covert it to 44.1 or anything else it disconnects the Bluetooth device and assigns the output to my iPhone. I have to close Cubasis in order for things to work again.

I had no issues with 3.7 connecting to the device which was connected to the 1/8 input in my vehicle.

Thanks!

Hi @bluesdelux1

See my comment above, and follow the workaround steps.
Hope that helps!

Lars

Hi @glennebrown

help not working in the new android release it gives a web page error,

While the help works fine some devices, it seems to fail to open on others at this moment.
Here are the links to access the help online:

sessions keep defaulting to lowest latency( correct action is to keep the session settings)

Did you use the app on its own, or is the device connected to another audio device or BT phones etc.?

Mouse and pen limited functionality; no fader movement, no knob or butons movment within pplugins.

Please give the following steps a try:

  • Close all apps, including Cubasis.
  • Fully shut down your device (turn it off).
  • Restart the device and launch Cubasis with an empty project.

Does this help to resolve the problems?

Best,
Lars

Thanks for the reply,

Tried the restart and launch empty project but it didn’t restore bt mouse nor galaxy pen functionality. Next step is to uninstall and do a new installation after I figure out how to backup my sessions

As for the latency change it happens with both bt headphones and the tablet sound latency always defaults to the lowest setting like I am setting up for recording but im mixing and editing so lowest latency mode is not my friend

Thanks for the quick response. Those steps didn’t resolve it. I played with the latency setting which helped a bit but the audio quality is terrible. I even tried a pair of Bluetooth ear buds and the audio quality was not good and very very phasery. Cubasis 2.7 had no issues connecting to the device and the audio quality was just as good as being hardwired to the devices.

Also, I have no audio issues using my bluetooth device to listen to YouTube or GarageBand songs/recordings.

Thank you!

Updated to 3.8, all good.

Except for one time when Cubasis just crashed and disappeared. Restarting the app worked fine, and no further problems.

I know that Cubase has crash logs (stack traces) that can be sent to Steinberg for diagnosis. Does Cubasis have that too? Just trying to feed information about this crash to the Cubasis engineering team to help them

Hi @glennebrown,

Please do not delete Cubasis 3 to avoid losing files or projects.

Your issues have been shared with our engineering team, who will evaluate them.

Regarding the audio problems:
please do not use Bluetooth headphones for the following check.

After shutting down your device and relaunching Cubasis with an empty project, does playback and everything else work as expected?

Best regards,
Lars
