I have issues using my mouse after the update. I can click on everything. That works, but as soon as I want to use a fader or move the screen with the mouse, nothing happens.
Edit: The keyboard doesn’t work either and files have double the length after mixdown. The actual 3 minutes of the project and then silence for another 3 minutes.
I’ve always just plugged my nt1 mic in via usb-c and been able to listen with my apple airpod2 headphones albeit with a delay but thats okay , always worked around that. Its always worked. I’ve been able to alter input gain etc fine and it’s always worked. But, since I’ve Upgraded to the new version of cubasis 3.8 for some reason my rode nt1 usbc mic now wont record. Although it seems to recognise it as a device in the audio>inout/output devices it doesnt record to an audio track at all. It also won’t playback thru my airpods anymore unless i change the i/o to the airpods instead of the nt-1. Then rubbish audio seems to being captured by the inbuilt mic of the airpods. I’t will then play thru the headphones but still wont record or capture any audio from the mic. This all used to work effortlessly without tweaks. Dont know whats causing this to happen apart from maybe something in the upgrade thats changed . What do I need to do to make it recognise and record the nt1 usb and monitor/playback thru the headphones. Thanks
I noticed that the price of Cubasis on Google Play Store in Brazil have not changed for this special offer.
I know that because for weeks now I’m considering to buy Cubasis por Android, evaluating the best option for me among available DAWs, so the price is something I’m aware.
How to apply the discount related to this campaign?
Cubasis for Android is regularly priced at $29.99 and is currently available at 40% off until January 7, 2026 to promote the release of Cubasis 3.8, as well as the new Verve and Etude apps for iPhone.
You may have seen a similar reduced price earlier during the Cyber Deals promotion, which took place shortly before this update and the new app releases.
Those are the steps I had followed and nothing changed. I’m not using Apple earbuds, I simply tested an off brand set to see if the same quality issue from the other bt device carried over to them and it did. When the bt device is connected, the input only shows the device’s name. The quality is drastically different from Cubasis 2.7 when I was connect to the device via my iPhone. 2.7 worked flawlessly with the device and there were no sound quality issues. I’ll try to figure out how to record the differences and send a wav file or something.
Thank you!
Explored with Amp Rack more - got some cool sounds, but really digging the effect pedals.
I watched both videos and get nothing like those options. I’ll have to do a screen recording and hopefully it will capture the audio too.
Great idea on using “no amp”
Thank you. Will post soon hopefully
@LSlowak How does the Cubasis to Cubase DAWproject export work for the new Verve and Etude? I understand that Iconica Sketch will carry over to desktop and use the HALion Iconica Sketch. Is there a similar transition available for Verve and Etude? Will users need the full desktop versions of Verve and Etude to continue with a project on desktop?
You’ll need the desktop versions of Etude and Verve for this, as desktop plug-ins are not compatible with mobile plug-ins.
Check out our DAWproject tutorial and article to learn how to use DAWproject support with Cubasis and Cubase (or any other DAWproject-compatible DAW), and to explore its features and limitations.
I’m running iOS 18 latest version on iPhone 13.
Other recording apps like GarageBand still run fine when connected to the Bluetooth device, no quality degradation.
Thank you!
Another tip for Amp Rack, turn off the cab, add an instance of another guitar app and use only the cab, you can get interesting results..
Just bought Cubasis for Android and running on OnePlus Pad 3 (running latest version of Android) which is a pretty powerful tablet.
Disappointed I could not connect Seaboard.M via Bluetooth (found out it wasn’t supported after purchase, yes I tried the demo I wrongly assumed the feature was missing), so had to use USB-C cable. Latency is terrible (yes adjusted the audio and MIDI latency in the settings).
I appreciate Android has it’s limitations (no doubt people are going to tell me to buy an Apple device now) but I expected far better. Bluetooth over MIDI should be supported.
I was very impressed when I connected the pad Presonus audio interface, but sadly the keyboard latency is still poor.
It would still be nice to have an up to date list of all the features (up to date) for IOS and Android in two separate columns, showing what is and what isn’t supported, and to have separate release notes for android every time it’s updated.
Impressive product nevertheless, but android needs some love.
