Thanks for the quick response. Those steps didn’t resolve it. I played with the latency setting which helped a bit but the audio quality is terrible. I even tried a pair of Bluetooth ear buds and the audio quality was not good and very very phasery. Cubasis 2.7 had no issues connecting to the device and the audio quality was just as good as being hardwired to the devices.
Also, I have no audio issues using my bluetooth device to listen to YouTube or GarageBand songs/recordings.
First sequence is when connected to Bluetooth device, I’ve had even worse audio quality. Second sequence is when connected to headphones (hardwire). Much better quality and as expected.
The performance of Cubasis for Android largely depends on the specific Android device in use.
The wide variety of Android devices and OS versions makes it impossible to predict Cubasis for Android performance on specific models. Cubasis LE Trial, available for free on Google Play, offers a limited feature set and 30-minute sessions that can be restarted anytime. You can remove the demo tracks and add your own. This trial helps verify if your device and hardware work properly with Cubasis for Android.
You might want to try adjusting the latency settings under Setup > Audio > Latency to see if this improves performance.
As you’ve already discovered, a comparison of the available Cubasis versions can be found on our website:

Hi Lars any ideas if there is a date in mind for the new update repair? And in the meantime should I just give up trying to use Bluetooth and just use audio interface?
any ideas if there is a date in mind for the new update repair?
We’re at it and will release the update as soon as possible.
should I just give up trying to use Bluetooth and just use audio interface?
To be honest, I don’t see a use case for Bluetooth when creating music in a DAW (due to system-related Bluetooth latency), except for tasks like checking mixes or similar. For sure, it’s fully up to you and everyone else who prefer using it. Please check the Issues/Solutions article to get around the issue. That said, the Bluetooth headphones issue will be resolved in the upcoming update.
Lars I’ve been creating music on my lunch breaks for the last two years while crossing roads shopping etc all the while only using Bluetooth headphones having to take audio interface to work is a little clunky! This is why I produce using iOS due to the ease of portable use…. I look forward to the new update…. Thanks for replying
How do you deal with the system-related latency when creating music via BT phones? Or do you have ultra-low-latency headphones at hand such as Yamaha’s YH-WL500? Regardless, the issue will be resolved in the next one…
Hi Lars I’ve been using Sony wh1000xm4 headphones and I think it was enable airplay option that made them usable I don’t generally record with a keyboard or play it’s mostly to programme and listen back. When I’ve wanted to record I go through an audio interface if I’m recording midi notes in real time.
I think there maybe issues bouncing individual tracks within a project as well. Ie if you solo a track and mix down it either gets stuck and doesn’t complete the task or bounces all tracks within the project… just to highlight this as well…
Tbh I wish I hadn’t updated now and I wish I could revert back to previous version so far the cons are far outweighing any pro’s for my use of the programme and my workflow….
However just to say very much love Cubasis to the extent I hardly ever use my pc anymore and have switched over to iOS as my preferred setup. So yeah thankyou for making such an amazing app in general…!
So far we are unaware about issues in this regard. If you can reproduce it, please create a separate topic and let us know the exact steps.
Best
Lars

Process: I wanted to airdrop a project from iPhone to iPad. I pressed share - airdrop - open compressed file in Cubasis. When opening the project on IPad tracks were present midi tracks were fine but audio tracks had an x and no audio. So then I thought I’d solo the audio tracks and send them as individual stems. My first soloed bounce gave me all the tracks on one stem even though I’d soloed one of the audio tracks. I tried to do the same thing the next day but the bounce didn’t commence it just got stuck processing the mix down request.
expected result: project airdrops successfully with audio and midi tracks present or I have an individual audio stem that I can import from the media bay.
Actual result: I have a project in iPad missing the audio stems except for one audio stem comprising all the tracks at the same time summed together.
I used an iPhone 15 pro a volt 1 input audio interface and an iPad Pro
no answer? Just see what the next upgrade brings then. Hopefully things will work again after that. I’m not that savvy a user and use cubasis for its simplicity. If I can’t get my mics to work or a decent sound via bluetooth then I’ll just have to use something else while they fix the obvious issues the updates caused. Shame as its a great piece ofsoftware
