Delete fermata on only one instrument in a grid

Hi everyone, in a grid, whenever I select a fermata, all of them are selected. How do I delete a fermata from only one instrument in a grid?

Minna @mmm3rdpower, due this impossibility, on Engrave Mode you can create a text frame with white background over fermatas: [Text frames] As result (page view): [Result] You can change the fermatas place to better results, or… put then outside the page, too (I’m using same archive, moving the bass and guitar fermatas): [Out of page] [Print page result] For engraving/printing purposes, it could be work.

For sure, Minna! On Engrave Mode, in the side panel, choose Frames > Insert Text Frame: [Text Frame] Insert Frame! [Frame] In the lower zone panel (also accessed via Ctrl/Cmd+8) , do the changes: [Lower Zone] [Background color] Done! Tip: as I wrote before, you can move the fermata for a “fine” result, due to its proximity with the staff line (but we have zoom). Take the opportunity to move then to out of page and test it!

Also have other options, like create a playing technique, that can be better/easier for only one instrument, despite no playback:

If you want a fermata to display only on some staves, you can create a playing technique with the fermata glyph and place it where you want it. This fermata will not play back, however.

But, above… you can add fermatas normally, “hide” then with a custom scale and color change , and add the playing technique with fermata symbol:

In this way, playback will works!
