Diminished chord symbol with "O"

How do you create a diminished chord symbol like this:

That is, with a circle instead of “dim” or “Mb5”?

Thanks!

Have a look in the Engraving Options Dialog

Does this make sense?

Here’s the page in the manual that gives a brief overview of the presets available, and points you towards the page in Engraving Options (Pro) or the Library > Chord Symbols dialog (Elements) where you can customize chord symbols to your heart’s content.

Thanks for that! Now … next question: In the Engraving options, the (diminished) chord symbol appears like this:

But in the score, it appears like this:

Is there a way to adjust the size of the “o”?

BTW - I already have these two options maxed out:

A bit lower on the Engraving Options page is this setting. Superscript is what I see the large majority of the time, and the usual recommendation for diminished chords.

Hi - For some reason the website is not letting me reply to your post.

But — I do have that setting chosen, and the “o” still seems really small. Any other ideas?

Thanks for responding!

Can you send a screenshot of your settings in this area? Or a blank project (with your Engraving Options)?

Didn’t we cover that one a couple of months ago? Make a global change by scaling and positioning it in the Edit Chord Symbol Component window.

Thank you. I’ll give that try.
