Any joy? @Spork
… yes, we already started to analyse the problem and also ordered some more DMX devices for testing. Please give us a moment,
Michael.
@Spork - Ah great! Thank you. Standing by Do you think I should order another interface I. the mean time and return this one I have? (if so which ones work?) I have a gig in 1 month that I need this to be working for.
Thanks in advance
HI @Spork - just checking in on the above. Should i grab another interface and if so which one? x Thanks! x
Pls first try again with the upcoming version scheduled for tonight.
Ah great thanks! Will do
Hello @Spork ,
Does the latest message in the thread below also apply to the issues we’ve faced in this thread?
Hi, we’ve found and fixed a problematic area which is responsible for the communication to DMX interfaces. This fix has been pushed to the next Pre-Release (2.0.15) which is coming later the day. Please re-try it and let us know your results. Thank you very much for your patience and your feedback, Michael.
Thanks

OK, I added 5 to every fixture address and now I have control,
… we have fixed that in 2.0.15. Indeed, there was an offset of 5 when “Blackout” was configured as an Effect for Transport Stop. With 2.0.15 you don’t need the offset workaround anymore.
/Michael.
@Spork - what version should I now be on? I’m on 0.10
Here you eill find pre releases www.vstlive.net
Last one os 2.0.15
Bye!
OK so it seems my problem might not be with VST. I dowloaded Lightkey and the Eurolite USB DMX pro Mk2 is not working with this either. IF Someone can offer any assistance I would really appreciate it. I’m pulling my hair out trying to get this thing to work. :-(((((( macOS Sonoma 14.5

Hi. How are you?
I have a FT232 USB UART Out DMX interface that has the LCI Driver FTDI CDM version - latest version 2.12.36.4. It can be seen and operated perfectly from QLight Controller Plus.
However, VST Live 2.0.20.140 sees it but doesn’t send signal to it. The interface goes online when I open my session - flashing the line signal in the refresh frequency - but data is not sent to it, apparently.
Is there any news on this, please?
Details about my system:

And have look in DMX Setup
Fantastic, @fkalmus! It is working now!
I now have the simple DMX session described by @Spork working in VST Live 2.0.24.152.
Edited (happens on any channel):
But there seem to be some bugs. When I write a sequence to flash a channel, writing 0, then after some time 255, then writing 0 again, when I play the sequence the last command to set the level to zero is ignored and the value hangs as the last level - in my case 255. It seems to happen if the “0” is the last command for a given channel.
Hi @Intini , glad that works;)

el to zero is ignored and the value hangs as the last level
Tested on MacOS via hand drawed DMX with 1/16th 255/0/255/0/255/0/0/0/0 in 120BPM, watching output on external ArtNet monitor and couldn’t catch such a problem using UNI#0
( @Spork ArtNet out on Mac is still on UNI#0 only )
