Have they disappeared ? I do not see anything anymore when I hover buttons with my mouse.

Tooltips for a number of options, including in the Write mode toolboxes, aren’t available at the moment due to technical reasons. See an earlier response from Daniel here –

Right, thanks. Yes, unfortunately, we’re unable to show tool tips for some of the new panels for really quite boring and inconvenient technical reasons. We have begun a transition from one user interface framework to another with this release, and we’re now in an awkward halfway house situation that comes with some compromises. We will be able to restore tool tips properly in future when we have fully moved over to this new framework for the main project window.

Hope they will come back very soon as they are VERY useseful (especially for new buttons which are not obvious to understand)

Any update on this? It’s really annoying the tooltips have gone, especially when you use them in a teaching video!

Welcome to the forum, @RJ_Samuels. Unfortunately there’s no news on this front at the moment. We know it’s an impediment and we are thinking about ways we can overcome the limitation that currently makes it impractical to show tool tips in parts of the project window.
